A couple years ago, my wife got me a fountain for my office.
They're really a blast, the kind you assemble anyway, because you move the rocks around to get different sounds. Simple amusement, I realize, but what with the addition of a few seashells, moving the slates around, etc., you can get the water to do different things. Anyone else have / like this stuff? Anyone tried doing an outdoor one?

I don't have and never have had a fountain, but I would want one. I love the sound of water running in fountains, and I think it'd be fun to change around rocks or shells in it to get different sounds.

I'd love one of those. don't have the space in this room for one, though.

Really? I've got one and it sits on a bookshelf, is no more than a foot or so high, and about as wide as a serving platter. I guess all that to say you may be surprised. They come in all shapes and (most important) sizes ...
